Remote Learning

Seton aims to continue to provide an ambitious and broad curriculum in all subjects.

We have extensive plans for the provision of remote education where needed and to ensure that the small number of children that need to be educated at home, for example, due to shielding or self-isolation, are given the support they need to continue learning.

Remote education, where needed, is of a high quality and aligns as closely as possible with in-school provision.

Each class teacher is producing detailed instructions for children and their families.  Plans will draw extensively from Oak National Academy, Pobble and White Rose Maths, along with resources from other providers.

Teachers will ensure that specific times are set aside for them to respond to any questions or feedback from pupils working at home.  Families will be encouraged to share children's work with the class teacher, via Microsoft Teams.  Please see the video here for information on how to access Teams.

A letter has been sent to families to explain how we intend to use Teams in the Autumn Term.  Please click here to access the letter.
